Seasons Greetings 2009

Wishing you all the best for the festive season & the New Year
David, Anne, James, Phillip & Andrew

Resting On Our Laurels 2009
We have had a busy but enjoyable year. David & Anne have both been working at Goulburn TAFE - Anne as a part-time librarian & David as a part-time teacher of ESOL & Permaculture. David enjoyed being involved in the 1st Bush Traditions Bundanoon Dance Weekend (June) & the 4th Bush Traditions Gathering at Goulburn (October). Anne spent many hours in hydrotherapy & is slowly evolving into a fish. Playing music with Paddys River & at the Brewery at Goulburn has been a continuing pleasure for both of us. Phillip & Andrew are now living & working in Sydney. Phillip is learning swing dancing, Andrew is playing guitar with the heavy metal band Entropy Within & James has just returned from 6 months traveling in Europe. The veggie garden has thrived, with Queenie the pig preparing an area that is now producing annual vegetables & a rich mix of berries & currants. More fruit trees have been planted & some unusual fruit & berry varieties have been successfully propagated. The Welsummer chooks are enjoying their new cob hen house with the Rooster remaining fiercely protective of his harem of hens. Featured in our “Season’s Greetings” graphic for this year is a selection of some of the fruit & berries that we pick at “The Laurels” at this time of year.
All the best for 2010
